Nan Rich with Kaydrin Herbert

Sen. Nan Rich joins Georgina Herbert, center, her adopted son Kaydrin, DCF Secretary George Sheldon, APD Director Jim DeBeaugrine, Pembroke Pines Mayor Frank Ortis and members of the South Florida child welfare community to celebrate a “home modification” project that will retrofit the Herbert’s home to accommodate a stair lift for Kaydrin, more accessible bathing facilities and the widening of several doorways. These modifications had to be accomplished prior to the court approving this special needs adoption.
