Nan receives 2009 Champions of Children Award

Earlier this month, Senator Nan Rich was awarded the 2009 Excellence Award for Public Policy by The Children’s Trust. The award was presented during the Trust’s annual Champion for Children’s Award Ceremony. Senator Rich was recognized for “effectively championing children’s causes through influencing public policy”. The Children’s Trust Champion for Children’s Awards Ceremony raises awareness about the needs of children in the community and serves to inspire others to work toward improving the lives of children and families in Miami-Dade County.
